Week of 2/6:
It's WEEK 1 on the Music Dept. Schedule
Monday 2/6 : Orchestra Rehearsal @ 7:10am Tuesday 2/7 : Band Rehearsal @ 7:10am Be sure you communicate with your teacher regarding assignments and work to be turned in! We leave around 11:30am and will not return until 6:00pm! Wednesday 2/8 : Late Opening! No Rehearsal, But Lessons as Usual. Thursday 2/9 : Band Rehearsal @ 7:10am Be sure you communicate with your teacher regarding assignments and work to be turned in! We leave around 11:30am and will not return until 6:00pm! Friday 2/10 : Jazz Ensemble Rehearsal @ 7:10am You must be dressed in your marching band uniform (no hat) to perform. Saturday 2/11 : Learning Materials, Metronomes and Helpful Links How would you like to be in the Philadelphia New Year's Parade? Do you play the saxophone, clarinet, guitar, banjo, violin, accordion or drums? Are you dependable, responsible and willing to practice? This site has been updated with information for the 2011-2012 school year. If there are some links which don't work or pages that look strange please let me know so I can fix them. This website has been updated with the handbook and forms for the 2011-2012 school year. Help us earn money for our school music program by participating in the BoxTops for Education program. We already participate in the program, all you have to do is clip the little "Box Tops" coupon and send them in to the school with your students. If the coupon is on a lid, submit the entire lid - rinsed clean.

Be at BH dressed properly (ALL BLACK)at 3:30PM. Bring money$$$$ for snacks!
We will return to BH around 10:30 or 11:00pm.
The Greater Overbrook String Band is now based in Upper Darby and looking for musicians to add to the band. If you are intrested you can see Mrs. Dwyer here at BH in room 210B in the library.
